This is such a lovely home! We loved our stay here. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The beds were so comfy! Probably some of the best sleep I've had in a very long time. We loved the coffee maker so much we bought one when we got home. The owner left a sleeve of coffee pods, milk and a lemon cake. This was a very nice touch since we arrived so late in the evening, we didn't have time to pick those items up. We visited in the winter and the grounds were lovely. I bet it's stunning in the spring and summer. You can see the water from the master bedroom window. After long days of sightseeing, it was such a nice, comfy place to return home to.

May Lodge was great. Very clean, well laid out, nice visitor touches like the welcome pack. It is three bedrooms that can sleep six. You might feel it is a little bit of a squeeze for six but it worked for us.

This was a perfect home away from home while visiting Belfast. With the "welcome gift", a well stocked kitchen, extremely comfortable beds and bedding, great showers and bathroom facilities, and a wonderful view of the Lough we could not have asked for anything more. Our host Rosemary went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. If we are lucky enough to make a return trip to Belfast we will be sure to stay at May Lodge.
“Ideal family holiday home for Belfast”

Well equipped holiday home, as other reviewers have said just 15 mins from Belfast by car. Local train service nearby too. We used it as a base for Belfast and trips out to Giants causeway, Newcastle and Mount Stewart. Recommended
